Changzhou PowerGenie Materials Co.,Ltd.was
founded in April,2002 by a team of professors from Department of Material
Science & Engineering at Nanjing University. It's situated in
the southeast of Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, only 150km away from
the major industrial city-Shanghai. With specialized expertise, manufacturing
capabilities and management strengths in the field of battery industry,
Changzhou PowerGenie is able to develop and manufacture advanced cathode
materials for lithium ion rechargeable power sources.
OUR MISSION
At Changzhou PowerGenie, our objective
is to become one of the leading manufacturers in the lithium-based
battery industry in China by delivering to our customers a broad range
of innovative cathode materials with superior quality and the best
price to performance ratio on the market.
OUR OPERATIONS
Changzhou PowerGenie has its manufacturing
plant in Changzhou, research and development center in Nangjing. It
currently employs more than 40 people supporting engineering, production
and research and development. The monthly production capacity of cathode
materials is 50 metric tons and will be doubled in the next year.
The company is well equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and
has an access to using a number of modern analytical instruments such
as ICP-AES, XRD, XFA, SEM-EDX, DSC, BET Surface Area Analyzer, Laser
Particle Size Analyzer as well as many other electrochemical machines.
The ultimate combination of our technical prowess with advanced analytical
skills associated with these instruments allows us to excel in handling
difficult battery material issues and providing consistently outstanding
materials to our customers’specifications.
OUR PRODUCTS
Our commercial product is Lithium
Cobalt Oxide(LiCoO2), which is used by several, Chinese Li-ion battery
makers. Several other candidate cathode materials based on lithium
manganese oxides and other transition metal polyanions are under
development. Our product undergoes rigorous in-process checks and
inspections and is manufactured to meet the high reliability criteria
of our customers using our quality system that ensures 100% material
and process traceability. |
